Hi, I’m Emily, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) based in Markham.

I work with children, teens, adults, and couples who often feel stuck in cycles of overthinking, anxiety, and emotional patterns that are difficult to break.

You may appear to be doing “fine” on the outside—managing work, school, relationships, or family responsibilities—while internally feeling overwhelmed, self-critical, or emotionally exhausted.

You might find yourself caught in:

• Repetitive overthinking or intrusive thoughts

• Anxiety that feels hard to control

• Relationship uncertainty or emotional dependency

• Patterns of self-doubt or fear of rejection

• Emotional reactions that feel bigger than the present moment


I see therapy as a space to slow down, notice what’s happening within you, and begin to understand the patterns that have shaped your emotional world.

We often develop ways of coping that once made sense, but over time, may start to feel limiting or painful. Together, we gently explore these patterns with curiosity rather than judgment.

I place importance on creating a space where you don’t have to “perform” or have everything figured out—just a space where you can begin to be more honest with yourself, at your own pace.

Healing is not a straight line.

It is not about becoming someone entirely different, but about slowly returning to yourself—understanding your reactions, softening self-judgment, and learning to relate to your inner world in a new way.

Change does not always come from force.

Sometimes, it begins in the moment you feel understood.
